283. This book has dealt with connatural rights. The titles to these rights are placed in us by nature. We see therefore that their study could strictly be called natural Right or Right of nature.(88)

(88) This is the strictest meaning of the expression Right of nature. Natural Right is close to this meaning but has a wider sense. Natural Right is the opposite of agreed Right, and we have taken it in this sense in the Schema of Right. Cf. ER, pp. 56-57.
